Hello, and welcome to my silent art auction.

How it works:

The pieces in this blog are on display at Arizmendi Bakery in Emeryville, CA, May 2nd - May31st, 2015. The auction will go for the duration of that showing. Once the show comes down, the highest bidder for each piece will receive their new acquisition in exchange for their bidding price (cash, check or paypal please). You don't have to be local to the Bay Area to bid on a piece. However, if you will need the piece shipped, there will be an additional charge for shipping on top of your bid, so please consider that in your bidding price. Shipping prices will vary from piece to piece. Please contact me if you need more specifics.

How to bid:

Comment the following information on the posting for the piece you are interested in:
1, the amount you wish to bid, and
2, either "local" if you're in the Bay Area, or "ship" if you'll need the piece shipped.
If you don't have a gmail account, you may email me to place your bid.

Starting bid price range:
Small paintings & unframed prints start at $5.
Most paintings start at $15 or $25.
Framed prints start at $25.
One painting starts at $50.

Why a silent auction?
1, It's fun. Try it. You might end up with a unique and meaningful object in exchange for only a few dollars. You never know.
2, For me, it's spring cleaning: clearing space, time and energy for new works.
